The Arc of Monmouth's Employment Services department leads the way in
arranging matches between persons seeking employment and local employers.
The Arc of Monmouth's Employment Services started in July 1985. Its
programs have been
instrumental in helping more that 500 individuals with developmental
disabilities obtain employment. Since 1998 Arc has also assisted persons
to move from welfare to work. Our professionals are eager to help
employers meet
their human resources needs.
Arc Employment, located in Red Bank,
serves people in eastern Monmouth County. Arc Resources Unlimited,
at Freehold Raceway Mall, serves those in western Monmouth.
After assessing the needs of the individual, job coaches seek a job that
matches the interests and skills of the worker with the needs of the
employer, and stays with the person until he or she has thoroughly
mastered the job.
