Business Advisory Council

The purpose of the Business Advisory Council is to advise the professionals of The Arc of Monmouth’s employment and vocational departments regarding opportunities within the business community. 

The council is composed of area business representatives, Arc Employment Services and Work Opportunity (WOC) staff.  The council meets regularly to brainstorm employment options and discuss marketing and networking strategies to promote employment and contracting services at The Arc.

The council  holds a breakfast each year, to acknowledge employers that not only employ Arc participants but also support and encourage their work in the community.  The Arc employment staff nominate individuals and businesses to receive awards in several categories.  The Business Advisory Council selects the winners.
