History
In April of 2011 the Freehold Borough Arts Council partnered with the Freehold Borough High School Art Students to help create the town’s first ever mural project.  Guided by professional muralist Matt Halm, the project involved over a 1000 community members, organizations, businesses, & students who came together over 6 months to inspire a community…Two months after its completion it was defaced by the same person who allowed the FBAC to use the abandoned space as its pallet .

“The Art Of Community” will feature the only salvaged panels that remain from the project as well as a storied print history of select mural images which capture the rise and destruction of the 160’ x 18’ mural that took 6 months to finish and one day to destroy. In addition, this special event will showcase the exquisite art work of the very high school students that partnered with the FBAC in serving the community they live in.
